I’ve never been one who believes that the effectiveness of your social media marketing can be measured in the number of Twitter followers you have. When it comes to building a base of followers, I’ll take a lower number of high quality followers of a higher number of low quality followers every time.
However, I do still think it’s important to keep an eye on your number of followers. If you notice that you’re losing followers, it could be a red flag that you’re doing something your target audience doesn’t like, so you may need to reassess your strategy and adjust where needed.
