Have you been looking in the App store for iPhone SEO Tools? Seems like there isn’t too much to choose from. At the time of searching, I found two. Concluding that there has to be a better solution, I decided to search on Google and I discovered that SearchEngineLand.com covered a review on an iPhone SEO tool last year called proSEO.
proSEO is a program that allows users to view pages using a browser similar to Safari while also enabling users to study important elements of the page at the same time. Simply view web pages as you would normally. When you come across a page that you’d like to analyze, simply click the analyze button. From there you can analyze the source code, anchors and link text, body text, images, and alt text.
The Body Analysis Pane is quite impressive. It keeps track of word count and also produces a stop word ratio. As they explain, a stop word ratio is determined percentage of a page that’s ignored by search engines. Another element that impressed me is the Phrases Pane. The Phrases Pane allows you to discover keyword phrases being used in the web page document under review. It’s a perfect way to extract out keywords the publisher may be gunning for in the SERPs.
Additional panes as mentioned above include Anchor Tag, Image, and Alt Tag analysis. All in all, if you’re crazy about SEO and can’t get enough of it when you’re away from your computer, proSEO seems to be an ideal solution for your iPhone. proSEO is available directly from your iTunes Store. The cost is $9.99, which in my opinion, isn’t bad at all.
If you know of any other SEO Tools designed specifically for the iPhone, please share your finding below in the comments.
